The focal unit of this chain fringe necklace is made up of a beautiful geometric hand enameled black onyx disc in red and white ( see enameling process below*) , a beautiful original design handmade bright gold plated brass filigree disc, a hand faceted gray quartz crystal and numerous dull gold plated chains forming a rich tassel. This unusual tassel necklace comes together with thick textured dull gold chain.

** Gemstone Enameling Process*
1) A suitable gemstone is chosen (in this case, black onyx) and thinly sliced.
2) The desired original design is hand and machine etched onto the surface of the stone.
3) The etched design and grooves are later hand filled using the cold enameling process.
4) After drying the stone is polished and buffed to a smooth finish.

This is an extremely intricate and labor intensive process.
